The Adeline sweatshirt is built on a waffle-knit texture that holds warmth in its structure rather than its weight. A henley placket with button closures opens at the neck, long sleeves finish in ribbed cuffs, and the relaxed body skims rather than clings. It reads softer and more considered than a standard crewneck.
Wear it on its own through fall, or as a mid-layer under a coat once the temperature drops. It works with joggers on a slow morning and just as easily with denim and sneakers out of the house. The button placket lets you open the neckline for a looser look or close it all the way for coverage. Waffle knit traps a thin layer of air against the skin, which is why it feels warmer than its weight suggests.
Machine wash cold and tumble dry low to preserve the waffle texture, since high heat can flatten the knit and shrink the body. Wash with like colors and avoid bleach. Button the placket before washing so the buttons do not catch. The fit is relaxed, so size down for a closer cut. The measurements below are approximate and taken flat. Line-drying occasionally instead of tumbling will keep the body length stable over many washes.
